Melee player Hugo HugS Gonzalez has joined multigame esports organization Selfless Gaming, the organization announced today.HugS joins the team as its second Super Smash Bros. player, joining Southern California peer Joey Lucky Aldama, who joined the team in May. The organization also has rosters in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, Rocket League and Killer Instinct.HugS signing with the team comes two weeks after he announced himself as a free agent. While he did not state the reason for his departure in early December from former organization Dream Team, HugS had encountered issues with the team being 22 days late on a payment in August, according to sources.HugS is currently ranked as 20th on the 2015 annual Melee It On Me Super Smash Bros. Melee rankings. His performances in 2016 have been less impressive than 2015, but his brand has grown significantly online. His personal stream on Twitch has more than 21,000 followers. ST.
