ATTLEBORO, Mass. -- Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is holding what authorities have said is a gun in several surveillance photos that were released Thursday and had been recorded hours before -- and minutes after -- his friend was shot to death. The photos, taken from Hernandezs home surveillance system, are in more than 100 pages of court records released by Attleboro District Court. Prosecutors have previously described the photos in court and in affidavits, but this is the publics first look at images showing Hernandez holding a gun both before and after the killing. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to murder in the death of Odin Lloyd, a 27-year-old Boston semi-professional football player whose body was found June 17 in an industrial park about a mile from Hernandezs home. He was shot five times. Four pictures show Hernandez in his basement holding a gun shortly after Lloyd was killed, an affidavit released Thursday says. The surveillance was cut off within minutes. Two other photos show what authorities say is Hernandez in his living room, a few hours before Lloyds killing, also holding what they say is a gun. Authorities believe Lloyd was killed with a .45-calibre Glock, which they have said hasnt been recovered. Prosecutors have said that a gun Hernandez is seen holding in the home surveillance appears to be a Glock. Authorities recovered an ammunition clip for .45 calibre bullets in Hernandezs Hummer as well as ammunition of the same calibre inside a condo he rented in Franklin, Mass. The previously sealed documents were released after several media organizations, including The Associated Press, filed motions seeking access and Judge Daniel OShea agreed Wednesday that they are public records. Defence attorneys have objected to the unsealing of the records, saying it is "systematically undermining" Hernandezs right to a fair trial. Also Wednesday, OShea sided with prosecutors who asked to delay a probable cause hearing for Hernandez to give them more time to present evidence in the murder case to a grand jury. That hearing was rescheduled for Aug. 22. Hernandez will continue to be held without bail until then. Prosecutors say Hernandez orchestrated Lloyds killing because he was upset at him for talking to people Hernandez had problems with at a nightclub a few days earlier. They say Hernandez and two associates, Ernest Wallace and Carlos Ortiz, drove with Lloyd to the North Attleborough industrial park. Authorities have not said who fired the shots, but documents filed in Florida portray the former Patriot as the triggerman. According to the records, Ortiz told police that Wallace said Hernandez fired the shots. The Patriots released Hernandez within hours of his arrest. Speaking at length Thursday for the first time since Hernandezs arrest, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said the team has had a "challenging off-season" and that it must work hard to "re-establish what were all about." The University of Florida, where Hernandez played in college, also said it is removing all references to him in and around the stadium in Gainesville. The University Athletic Association said in a statement it "didnt feel it was appropriate to celebrate" the former Gator. Thomas Welsh Nuggets Jersey . PETERSBURG, Fla. Michael Porter Jersey . He also gave contending teams around the majors more reason to take a closer look at the right-hander.Santana pitched a seven-hitter for his second complete game in his last four turns, but the Twins lost 2-0 to Lucas Harrell and the Atlanta Braves in a matchup of the worst teams in the majors. This untimely meeting came nearly 25 years after the Twins beat the Braves in a World Series thats often been mentioned among the most dramatic in history. The 1991 anniversary celebration was launched by Gene Larkin, who had the winning hit in the 10th inning of Game 7, throwing the ceremonial first pitch.Santana was prepared to emulate Jack Morris, who pitched all 10 innings of the famous Game 7. Sure, there was a little less on the line, but Santana (3-9) needed only 97 pitches to go the distance. He struck out five without a walk, and lobbied manager Paul Molitor for a return if the Twins were able to tie the game in the ninth. He was like, `Yeah, you got it, Santana said.Santana lowered his ERA to 3.78. He likely will attract the attention of some contenders ahead of the Aug. 1 non-waiver trade deadline. If I got a chance to do it and rest my bullpen, I will do it. Yeah, why not? Every time, Ill take it, he said.A.J. Pierzynski doubled and scored against the team that drafted him in the third round in 1994. Behind the plate, he helped guide Harrell (2-2) to his first scoreless start in the majors since June 9, 2013, for Houston. Pierzynski also threw out the fleet-footed Byron Buxton trying to steal third base in the third inning, the first time Buxton was caught in eight attempts this season.Jim Johnson pitched a perfect ninth for his third save in six attempts, completing a five-hitter that stopped the Braves five-game losing streak. The Twins went 0 for 11 with runners in scoring position.Harrell, making his fifth start this month but only his eighth in the majors since the end of the 2013 season, gave up four hits in six innings.dddddddddddd.TRADE TALKInterim general manager Rob Antony said hes not calling other teams to try to trade Santana, who is making $13.5 million this year and is signed through 2018.If you trade him, you go into the offseason saying, `We really need another veteran. We need another guy we feel good about and are confident hes going to be able to give us a good outing every five days, Antony said before the game. Im not sure that guys going to be out there, and if he is theres going to be a lot of competition to get him.Santana said hes not thinking about the possibility of being dealt. Not even close, he said.Manager Paul Molitor would prefer to keep Santana, naturally, but he acknowledged the reality of the teams status this season.Hes experienced. Hes shown that he can go deep into a season as far as innings pitched and those types of things, Molitor said. Im sure that would be an appealing starter to add to any rotation.MORE MEMORIESMolitor, who was playing for Milwaukee at the time, had seats at the Metrodome near the first-base dugout for Games 6 and 7 of the 1991 World Series. Hes a native of St. Paul, just across the Mississippi River. The Twins also revealed a mobile exhibit featuring the seat behind left field where Kirby Pucketts winning home run in Game 6 was caught. The fan who grabbed it that night, Joe Reis, was at the game Tuesday for the unveiling. The actual seat that Reis sat in is now on display after years of storage.TRAINERS ROOMTwins: 3B Trevor Plouffe, progressing through baseball-like activities in his recovery from a broken rib, will take live batting practice by the weekend and could begin a rehab assignment next week.
